I believe it's for a V8 car, the bell housing is solid and it does have transmission cooler line fittings. Since I'm new to powerglides I need to know what upgrades I'm looking at to hold about 500hp.

I put mine together and thought I had the linkage set right. I had a pretty good 383 in the car and the first time I nailed it the shift was really soft. I tried it again and still soft.
