Light and easy to use, good value for money, and seems to work really well. I used it to cut 40 metres of privet hedge front and back, and it only used one section of the three section battery. WebTo rejuvenate a privet hedge, you need to cut it back to within 12 inches (31 cm.) of the ground. This process should be done in late winter when the hedge is dormant. The best tool to use for this job is a pair of sharp pruning shears or a hedge trimmer. Cut each stem cleanly and evenly across the top.
