The one pictured is on ebay and has part of the underside of the barrel removed. Was that done to make it clearly not capable of firing a projectile/slug? WebMar 8, 2011 · The larger bronze cannons on the Herreshoff pattern sound great and look perfect. The same size in iron by Winchester, which I had on Granuaile, is without doubt the most cost-effective as it looks ok with just a little maintenance - actually looks more real and less frufru than bronze - and still sounds quite good.
